There’s no botanical wall between hemp and marijuana — “hemp” is simply the legal name for cannabis that tests under 0.3% Delta-9 THC by dry weight. Above that line, it’s “marijuana” in the eyes of federal law.
Why hemp products can still be strong
Because the limit is on Delta-9 by weight, hemp can still deliver strong effects through other routes: THCa flower that converts to THC when heated, or Delta-9 gummies that fit real doses under the weight limit. Same plant, clever measurement.
